Hypnobirthing - Are You Born To Give Birth?
My midwife thinks I'm born to give birth!
Could that be true?
Or does everyone have the same ability?

Song I'm Adding To My iPod 4 My Next Hypnobirth
When I went into labor with my first baby "Honey Rose" I used my iPod to help keep me "In The Zone".
I had my headphones stuck in my ears all the way to the hospital (which included a trip to McDonald's drive-thru .... tell you about that later!) and also as I was wheeled into hospital.
After that - it was CD's on the CD player in the delivery room ... And to be honest it was one of the most crucial things that helped me have a beautiful and pain-free experience!
The only thing that I regret was that I ended up listening to the same things OVER and OVER!
So, this time I'm adding to my Hypnobirthing collection as I go along - And THIS SONG is by far my favorite at the moment! I just know where my headspace will be when I'm birthing my next baby to this song ---- AAAHHHHHHH RELAXXX!!!!!!!!!

Only 4 sleeps until the "Mother Of All Rallies" ...
.... and as we creep closer and closer I'm realising the importance of this day in history.
Do you want your daughters to have NO CHOICE where to give birth?????? .... HomeBirth may not be for everyone, but the CHOICE is a BASIC HUMAN RIGHT.
If you can't be there ... then we need your voice. Write to your local newspaper or call your local talk-back station and bring up this important issue.
I have posted this beautiful video to hi-light what we COULD lose if Health Minister Nicola Roxon continues to ignore us ....

Women's Birthing Rights! - Rally @ Parliament House September 7

Hi Everyone,
While this space was initially created to help spread the word about Hypnobirthing I feel it is my duty to support the cause of keeping womens' birthing rights available - that is HOMEBIRTHS!
I didn't actually have a homebirth for my first labor, but I am considering it for my 2nd. If I choose the hospital option again then that's fine, but I STILL WANT OPTIONS!
At this stage only politicians and people who have a vested interest in medicalised births are the ones trying to make it impossible for midwives to perform home births and that's scary! The voices of those who are experienced in the alternative method are being shut out, so I along with many other women I will be marching at Parliament House, Canberra on September 7th 2009.
Even if you don't want a home birth, but realise the importance of women and babies rights then you lend your support too. Can't get to the RALLY? - Support us online! http://www.homebirthaustralia.org/virtual-rally-ticket
